Your yacht doesn't have to come to us. Backed by two company aircraft and a fleet of fully equipped mobile trucks, our in-house technicians reach marinas and slips across South Florida fast for on-site repairs and warranty work, and fly direct to the islands for emergency repairs. No towing, no waiting on an outside vendor's schedule. Just the same certified team and craftsmanship, wherever you're docked.
I recently completed my annual yard period with Gillen Yacht Services in Dania Beach, and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. I run a 108-foot motor yacht with a 37-foot tender, and the Gillen team handled every aspect with professionalism, efficiency, and care.
What impressed me most was their fully in-house operation — from carpentry and HVAC to engineering, everything was handled under one roof, which kept communication clear and progress seamless. My project manager, Pat Brennan, was outstanding: incredibly hands-on, organized, and attentive to every detail. David Gillen Jr. was equally involved and ensured everything stayed transparent and on schedule.
On the administrative side, Claire in accounting deserves special mention for her quick turnaround on invoices and clear communication throughout. Even the receiving department was courteous enough to being my daily deliveries to the boat. The entire team was courteous, clean, and highly efficient, and having the yacht docked right outside their office made coordination effortless.
As a captain managing this yard period solo, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Gillen Yachts sets the standard for honesty, reliability, and top-tier service in South Florida’s yachting community.
Gillen exceeded every expectation I had. From start to finish, their attention to detail, communication, and overall execution were absolutely top-tier. It’s rare to find a company in the marine industry that delivers this level of professionalism and consistency, but Gillen truly stands out.
They approached every aspect of the job with precision and care, kept me informed throughout the entire process, and made sure everything was done right the first time. The quality of their work speaks for itself.
If you’re looking for a team you can trust to handle any marine-related project, I highly recommend Gillen without hesitation. These guys set the standard.
